great product
I have an outdoor koi/gold fish pond. It's not huge, about 250 gallons. Trying to regulate the Nitrate/Nitrite levels and PH has been so difficult! I bought this after reading about this product and my fish LOVE this stuff!! My pond is CRYSTAL CLEAR! No more nitrite/nitrate issues at all. I keep a baggie with this clay and their fish pellets in it. Every morning I throw some pellets in the pond for feeding. The clay coats the food. They're waiting for me every morning for their breakfast snack! Can't say enough wonderful things about this product!!
It’s has left my tank very clean
My fish always perk up when I add this to the pond water. I had to figure out a dosage amount that made my fish happy that was different then specified on the container. Some of the clay settles to the bottom of the pond and slowly dissolves.If to much is added the water will look dirty. I have RO water so it stays really clean. I'm not sure if the RO water makes a difference or not. I like it and recommend it.
Didn't clear the water at all. Hopefully the other benefits that I can't see are working. Kind of a hassle having to put it in a pop bottle to dissolve it and then scatter all around the pond. But that isn't the fault of this product, just is what it is.
