Campgrounds · RV Parks · Summer Camps

Your seasonal plant can't keep up with ammonia. We can fix that.

UltraClear Nitrifying Concentrate is used by seasonal wastewater operators across the US to get ahead of ammonia spikes before they become violations.

Sound Familiar?

If you run a seasonal facility, you already know this cycle.

Your plant sits dormant all winter. Maybe you drain it. Maybe it trickles along on groundwater and a skeleton crew. Either way, by spring, your nitrifying bacteria are gone.

Then the season starts. Fifty people become five hundred overnight. Your ammonia goes from single digits to double digits in a weekend. You're out of compliance before June. You spend the rest of the summer chasing it. By the time your plant catches up, the season's over. Next year, same thing.

If you run a wastewater plant at a campground, summer camp, RV park, seasonal resort, recreational community, or any facility where your flow goes from nothing to everything in a matter of days, you already know this cycle. And you know that nobody in this industry is building solutions for plants your size.

Nobody builds for plants your size.We are.

Why past products didn't work

Why Nothing Has Worked

You've probably tried other products. A gallon here, a case there. Maybe someone sold you a skid of jugs and promised results. Maybe you were spending $100+ per gallon on a concentrate that needed refrigeration and didn't move the needle. Here's why it didn't work:

Wrong timing.

Dosing after your ammonia is already through the roof means you're playing catch-up. The nitrifiers need to be established before the load arrives, not after.

Wrong dosing point.

If you're putting bacteria into a tank with no aeration, they die. Nitrifiers are aerobic. They need dissolved oxygen at 2.0 mg/L or higher to function.

Not enough product.

A half gallon a day into a system processing 20,000+ gallons of high-strength wastewater is not going to cut it. You need enough biomass to actually compete.

No plan.

You got a jug and a label that says "add 1 oz per 1,000 gallons." That's not a dosing plan. Every system is different. Your flow pattern, your DO, your alkalinity, your peak loading, all of it matters.

Our approach

How We Do It Differently

We don't just ship you product. We build you a dosing plan specific to your system, your flow pattern, and your seasonal cycle. Then we time your shipment so the product arrives at peak potency right when you need it.

Pre-season shock dosing.

We dose heavy 2-3 days before your first big event. This floods your system with nitrifiers so they're established, hungry, and ready to consume ammonia the moment the load arrives.

Maintenance dosing between events.

Small doses timed to your weekend traffic keep the population alive between surges without wasting product into an empty system.

Spike response.

When a holiday weekend or a freak rainstorm hits harder than expected, you have product on hand to reinforce immediately.

Shelf-stable product.

Our concentrate is stable at room temperature for 12 months. No refrigeration. No cold chain shipping. No special storage. Keep it in your maintenance shed and grab it when you need it.

We actually pick up the phone.

You're not buying from a catalog. You're working with people who understand wastewater, understand your system, and will help you dial it in. If it's not working, we want to know why, and we'll adjust the plan.

Results

It Works

A seasonal recreational community in Pennsylvania was losing nitrification every holiday weekend. Flow would jump from 50,000 to 300,000 gallons per day overnight. They pre-dosed 20 gallons across two SBR basins 2-3 days before Memorial Day weekend. The product held through the surge. They're now on a maintenance program heading into July 4th.

A performing arts summer camp in New York empties their plant every winter and starts from zero each May. Population ramps from 50 to 700+ in weeks. Influent is pure septic leachate. We built a two-phase shock approach timed to their population ramp, with the first dose going in right as the first group arrived and a heavier shock before full capacity. Two drums on site, dosing plan in hand.

A contract operator in Missouri manages an RV park plant at Lake of the Ozarks with four fixed-film treatment pods. Two were healthy, two had lost their biology after a sludge removal. He started with a single case to test on his smaller residential systems, proved the product worked, and is now building a dosing plan for the RV park ahead of July 4th.

The product

UltraClear Nitrifying Concentrate

A live, highly concentrated blend of Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter bacteria in a liquid carrier. These are the same organisms responsible for nitrification in every wastewater treatment plant in the world. We just give you a lot more of them, a lot faster.

Available in gallon jugs, 4-gallon cases, 55-gallon drums, and 275-gallon totes. Most seasonal operators start with cases or a drum. Over 30 years in biological water treatment. Our strains are fully characterized and verified by a leading industrial microbiology lab. Every batch is tested for viability before it ships.
