- Works with pond circulation, aeration and filtration
- Use 2 fl oz per 1,000 gallons; dilute before application
- Safe for fish and aquatic plants when used as directed
Description
Help your pond clear the fine particles that ordinary filtration misses.
UltraClear Flocculant binds suspended silt, clay and organic debris into larger clumps. Those particles can then settle or be captured by your filter, improving visibility in cloudy or muddy pond water.
A focused treatment for cloudy water
- Binds fine particles: helps aggregate the tiny solids responsible for haziness.
- Useful after disturbances: suitable for cloudy water following storms, runoff or pond maintenance.
- Works with your equipment: circulation and aeration help distribute the treatment; filtration collects bound particles.
- Made in the USA: safe for fish and aquatic plants when used at the label rate.

How much to use
Use 2 fl oz per 1,000 gallons of pond water. For example:
- 500 gallons: 1 fl oz
- 1,000 gallons: 2 fl oz
- 10,000 gallons: 20 fl oz
- 40,000 gallons: 80 fl oz
Measure pond volume carefully and do not exceed the package directions. Use our pond calculator if needed.
Apply, circulate and remove particles
- Dilute the measured dose in 1 gallon of tap water and mix well.
- Distribute evenly over the pond surface during daylight, following the label.
- Keep circulation, filtration and aeration running. Allow the treatment to work overnight.
- Backwash or clean the filter and remove settled debris as appropriate for your equipment.
Water may temporarily cloud as particles bind. Visible improvement is generally expected within 24–48 hours, depending on pond conditions. Follow the label before considering a repeat dose.
Common questions
Is Flocculant a beneficial-bacteria product?
No. It is a chemical clarifier that binds particles. UltraClear Biological Clarifier uses bacteria and enzymes to help break down organic material.
What should I do after treatment?
Remove the captured or settled solids. UltraClear recommends following with Biological Clarifier to replenish beneficial bacteria and support ongoing clarity.
Can I add extra for faster results?
No. Use the recommended dose and maintain aeration. More product is not a substitute for correct dosing and particle removal.
